Television as Lover, Part II: Doing Auto[Erotic]EthnographyDepartment of Speech Communication at Colorado State University This article seeks to demonstrate how to engage with television in an ecstatic mode. Toward that end, it undertakes an auto[erotic]ethnography of the author's television viewing practices. The conclusion reflects on the implications of viewing in this mode for the practice of criticism.
