Paranoia, Conspiracy Theories, and the Presidential Election of 2004Central Methodist University The article is an autoethnographic analysis of the 2004 presidential election. In particular, the author examines conspiracy theories surrounding the election, media coverage of these theories, and the nature of legitimacy in current American political discourse.
